concert brochures
The Butler Philharmonic needed brochures for their concert season. They each needed to tell their own story while maintaining the orchestra's established branding.

Summer pops
The goal for this show was loud, expressive, summer feeling with patriotic touches.
Instruments coming from every angle created an organized chaos that fit the goal.
I also added red white and blue waves and transparent stars to make it patriotic in a subtle way.
Tchaikovsky 5
This show featured music from the 1800-1900s so I went for a more mature and classic feeling.
Using old paper with scrawled stanzas and music moving around him helped the audience picture Tchaikovsky himself writing his masterpieces.

The magic
of Gershwin
The final show hoped to acquaint young people with the music of Gershwin.
The bright illustrative style appealed to that audience. I used blues in contrast with the black and white elements to make it eye catching and exciting.

Each of these posters told their own story and helped make for a successful concert season.
